Visiting London but run out of steam? Take a river cruise on a Thames Clipper (commuter ferries)
from Westminster or the London Eye to the 02 centre, take the Emirates Airline (cable car) across the river to the Excel centre and back, then back on the boat for a trip to Greenwich or Canary Wharf.
The remains of the temple of Mithras in Londinium has opened as a free attraction near Bank tube
station. The remains of this Roman temple became exposed due to WWII bomb damage. The
massive new Bloomberg building was built in in the same block but the temple has been
incorporated in it’s original position.
Click here, even just to see the extent of the bomb damage in the City of London on the brief intro film clip. Astonishing.
Visit the Museum of London. Free and fabulous.
Or come with us on the 3 hour London Photography Mystery Tour and see the unexpected, the old
and new, the details and the grand views.
